Courses
There are a number of courses on optics (including modern topics such as lasers, fiber optics, spectroscopy, and electro-optics as well as classical topics) on the NMSU campus for upper-division undergraduate students and graduate students.
They are taught by faculty of the Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Dr. Voelz and Dr. Cho), the Department of Physics (Dr. Armstrong and Dr. DeAntonio), and the Department of Chemistry (Prof. Smirnov).
Most of these courses are cross-listed in the ECE and Physics departments. Five courses will be offered in Fall 2007.
